# SCOPE OF WORK: All estimates will conform to the CRSI Code of Standard Practice. For estimating reinforcing materials, when not in conflict with the contract documents, local or state building codes.
# ETHICS: Estimates done by TALBERT'S REBAR ESTIMATING, INC. will only be available to the contractor or fabricator who supplies the document for estimating. All weights and breakdowns are confidential. The price of the estimate report will be based on the price sheet provided. All jobs are different, and the price sheet provided is used as a maximum and may be discounted at the discretion of Talbert's Rebar Estimating, Inc.

Segments and Sub-segments as needed

Quantity, Size, Length, ASTM Specs, Grade and Fabrication Accessories as Required by Contractor or Fabricator
# ALL ESTIMATES WILL BE DONE USING aSa ESTIMATING SOFTWARE. All report information will be transferred to a cover sheet that will accompany the estimate hard copy.
# RELATED MATERIALS THAT WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE ESTIMATE: Epoxy or Galvanized coated (will be segmented from plain REINF.) Special Bends or End Preparation Threading (size and type) All Field Weld Reinforcing per Contract Documents. All welded wire mesh per contract documents.
# FABRICATION Light Bending All Bent #2 & #3 Bar All Stirrups and Ties All Bars #4 THRU #18 with More Than 6 Points All Bars Bent in Multiple Planes All Bars Bent with More Than One Radius All Radius Bars with Combination Bending
Heavy Bending All #4 Through #18 with Less Than 6 Points (Except as noted above)
Special Bending All Confined Bars All Radius Bars in More Than One Plane All Multiple Bends Containing One or More Radius Bends.
# STOCK LENGTHS: All stock length shall be Estimated as follows (unless specified by the contractor or Fabricator):
MILL STOCK FABRICATOR STOCK #3 & #4 BAR 40-0 FEET 20-0 FEET #5 THRU #18 BAR 60-0 FEET 30-0 FEET
No Bars will be estimated in lengths other than noted above unless directed to do so by the contractor or fabricator.
No mill stock will be estimated in locations other than grade beams, mat foundation, continuous footing, and slabs on grade unless directed to do so by the contractor or fabricator.
# All hooks shown on the contract documents shall be assumed standard U.N.O.
# LAP SPLICES:
All laps shall be per the schedule located in the contract documents.
In the case that no splice chart is shown, the estimator shall contact the structural engineer to resolve the problem in the event that a splice chart can not be provided in time to complete the estimate, the estimator will assume Class B & will use Table 1 from the 4th Edition(1997) CRSI Reinforcement Anchorages and Splices Book (pages 7&8). If bars are epoxy coated and no chart is shown then the estimator shall use Table 2 as shown on pages 9 & 10. In either case the estimator shall note this on the cover sheet under ASSUMPTIONS.
Lap Splices for #14 & #18 are prohibited by code except for dowels in compression. Unless specifically noted or shown on the documents.
The estimator shall not supply lap splices for #14 & #18 bars. NEXT: Standards Cont'd
